It is funny becuase it is true. :P

 

I also notice that your man has no reproductive organs. Are you trying to keep it family friendly or were those taken also? :lol: I can relate. :P

 

My approach with the Mrs. was to offer to make her a coin. Although she has less than 20 finds she was absolutely intreigued with the idea. The great part is that she cannot make up her mind on design concepts. As along as she continues to be indecisive, I am pretty much off the hook (until this month's credit card bill comes that is). ;)

Rules for collecting geocoins:

 

1. Only buy a few a week and pick them up at the post office.

2. Never and I mean Never open the envelope when she's around.

3. Don't put them in a binder, showcase, or anywhere all together... they're to easy to count. Keep them in multiple locations in small groups.

4. Buy some you don't even want just so you can sell them on eBay and she sees you're not just hording them all.

5. Give her a few so you can justify yours with "you have some too".

6. Don't ever under any circumstances let her see your PayPal account.

7. Keep your bags packed.

Ok, D@nim@l and I worked out a deal. I will be adding another coin to go with the man coin. A women's coin, for the wifes of the guy collectors. :blink: This way when you get yours in the mail, you can hand her hers and walk away knowing you have involved her and she has her collection now too. The womens coin will reference back to the mans coin.

Except I am the wife and collecter so you have to make both options! Hubby is already trying to steer me clear of this new obsession. I tell him it's something new for me, it's fun and I can quit anytime. :) And a personal coin is in the works too, my how far I've come in such a short time! (just over 1 month)
