+douglasf
I just came back from a cache where a tree had recently fallen onto the path meaning I had to scrabble up a steep bank in wind and rain to get to the cache. My hands were covered in something that smelt very (very) bad when I got there as well as having cow pooh up to my knees. I couldn't see the view you get to see in summer as it was so foggy. Yesterday I went to do a cache and the sign for Part I had been blown away in the recent gales. I noticed that only 1 of my caches has been touched over the xmas period. I therefore assume I'm the only one dumb enough in these parts to go out - I just gotta keep ahead of Westie Walker So did anybody do any caches they rather they hadn't over the Christmas period - when you could have stayed in and ate and drunk like everybody else ? MK Wotsit
I went out on Boxing Day. There was a plague of muggles out! I'm sure they thought I was having a wee as I squatted in the bushes signing the logbook! Quote Link to comment
DaBeEm
Me and my bike got extremely muddy - (must have considerably increased the weight with the amount of mud it was picking up- and still has as i haven't got round to cleaning yet!), i fell in a canal on christmas day, got a puncture on boxing day (and found i'd left my repair kit at home!), ripped my trousers on a fence the day after, had a couple of dnf's on caches that i'd gone out of the way for. But the trip had some good points, enough to cover the bad! - my 1200th on christmas day, not many muggles around and cycling in a t shirt at this time of year!! Just got to log all the finds now - i'll do it tonight and eat and drink at the same time! Quote Link to comment

Relic_Hunter_Finder
Reply: Well, yes as a matter of fact. I took a hold of some free time which happened to come my way and hide a cache on the twenty-six after arriving home from work in the early afternoon. Quote Link to comment
+2202
Jolly Jaxs and myself did 15 around a 11.5 mile circular walk on Thursday and **Andy** raided Oxford yesterday and bagged 21. Some of us are active! Quote Link to comment
+The Flying Boots
We did 2 caches on Christmas day, 889 meters up a very foggy freezing mountain, cycled 10 miles to 1 on a foggy Boxing Day and did 7 today. There's no such thing as bad weather, only the wrong clothes Quote Link to comment
+penguinhunters
I did 1 Christmas day, 3 Boxing Day, 6 Wednesday, 1 Thursday, 5 Friday (in Heavy Rain) and 2 Today Quote Link to comment
+jerryo
I went out today and got ***sed on by the torrential rain that our god-like weatherman had neglected to mention. DNF'd the first but got a couple of damp drive-by's Hey, why don't we log some of our own caches as finds? That’ll save a walk Quote Link to comment

+The Blorenges
I can put up with water dripping down my neck, muddy paths and scrambling over trees and getting generally wet...... but what really puts me off the game is eventually finding the cache wrapped in the remains of a black bin bag that is muddy, covered in slugs and wet. You get filthy unwrapping it!! Chris Quote Link to comment

SNAKEBITER
Managed to do a couple over the Holiday period but nothing since. However I am due to go over to my dad's soon and by the looks of it he has a few that I can do while I am there. All i really need it to do now is stop raining, I don't do "cache by ark" very well.
