+The Broylers
Hi, New to the paperless caching. I uploaded some caches to my pda. They sort alphabetically no problem, however, when I try to sort by wpt the wpt codes GCXXX don't show up. I get a rearranged list of the cache names instead. Any ideas? Thanks, broylers Quote Link to comment

Thanks, broylers You can change how the list of caches is displayed by selecting "List Options" from the "Option" menu. Then make sure "Display waypoint as name" is NOT selected, and make sure "When sorted by waypoint" IS selected. When you set CacheMate up this way, the cache name is displayed when sorted by Name, and the waypoint (GC) code is displayed when you sort by Wpt. This works with my Palm-based copy of CacheMate; the rules may be different if you use a Windows-based PDA. --Larry Quote Link to comment

+Cardinal Red
Where do I find this list options menu? I can't seem to locate it. Thanks, broylers Top left hand corner, tap on CacheMate (inside dark border) Tap Option Tap List Options Mine seems to work the same as the setup Larry is using, but I check BOTH "Display waypoint as name" AND "When sorted by waypoint" If you want you can have a truncated Cache Name and GC Waypoint on the same line by setting Extra info: on that same screen to Waypoint. Your other options there are Diff/Ter or None I just worked through all the menu options till it worked the way I wanted. Experiment. Quote Link to comment
