+Santa 2512
Hi, first post and im in trouble (sort of), I have downloaded the geocaching proggy for win mobile devices, and want to search for caches. Trouble is everytime, it keeps asking for my username and password, i duly enter these and it still asks for them saying there is an error?? Any ideas, or is it me.... (managed to get within spitting distance of my first cache, on tuesday, but too many people around to go into furtive mode) Mart Quote Link to comment
+9Key
Which program did you download? Did you contact their support? Quote Link to comment
Motorcycle_Mama
Yes, you will want to make sure that it is an authorized application if it is accessing the Geocaching.com website. Quote Link to comment

Motorcycle_Mama
It don't know what "proggy" means. But that application is now authorized. It wasn't previously. You should check with the application developer for assistance though. Quote Link to comment

I've heard it before from non-techie people at our UK offices. Probably just a local term/nickname, world's full of those Quote Link to comment
+northernpenguin
You should check with the application developer for assistance though. GCzII usually has to update after Groundspeak makes changes to the website (once a month, most recently yesterday). Give the author a few days to respond, and watch for a new download on the site. Edit: Just checked. V0.23 is out of date. Current version is 0.2.35.40, published February 11. Edited February 25, 2010 by northernpenguin Quote Link to comment
+DACooper
The easiest way to keep up to date on GCz is to download AppToDate from http://www.apptodate.org/get from your phone. Quote Link to comment
+GeePa
But that application is now authorized. It wasn't previously. How do you know it was authorized? I just checked the list of software on the geocaching.com site and it was not listed? Just wondering for future reference. Quote Link to comment
