Andriod (reference to unauthorized application removed by Groundspeak)

I've just joined the site and this is my first post in the forum. In fact, I haven't gone after a cache yet. After searching around the forum I'm seeing a lot on the various android apps but not much on (reference to unauthorized application removed by Groundspeak). I downloaded it and it seems to work well. It brings up caches right in the app, rather than opening the browser and I can see them on the map or in a list. I can load them to use offline as well. Seeing as how I'm a total noob and haven't actually used this app to find a cache, is it actually any good? Has anyone used it and if so how is it better or worse than the more popular ones such as GeoBeagle, etc.

I've heard of geocaching for a while and something the other day spurred me to google it and investigate some more (no idea what it was). There's not a ton of stuff to do where we are stationed now and this looks like something I definitely would like. Besides, not hard to convince the wife since it's essentially free since I can use my phone. I hope to log my first find sometime this week or weekend.

Sorry, but you downloaded an application that violates Groundspeak's terms of use. As such, discussion of that app is not permitted in Groundspeak's forums, so I am closing your thread.

I encourage you to read some of the existing threads about other Android applications, over in the GPS and Technology section of these Forums. Also, an official Groundspeak application for Android is in the later stages of beta testing, and is expected to launch by the end of the month.

Welcome to Geocaching!
