Flying Spaghetti Monster
For those that don't always see the website upgrades/changes, I thought you might want to know that Groundspeak has made it easier to dip coins for mileage now. See information here. Note that the coin must be in your inventory, not your collection for this to work. It also appears to work for Earthcaches which is a feature the EC crowd has been wanting for a while (the ability to dip their EC coins into ECs). Look at the bottom of the page when you go to log a find and you'll see the coins listed in your inventory with a drop-down of choices (there's no option to drop into an EC, just visit). Please put the extra clicks and keystrokes that you are now saving to good use. Edit to add: I almost forgot to mention the second feature. A WYSIWYG editor for putting HTML into Trackables pages (for those not comfortable using raw HTML). This will make it easier than ever to create pages that are as pretty as your coins! +Jackalgirl
Oh, wow, I love that "dipping" option. That is going to make updating my "Jackalgirl" log/diary a LOT easier. Thanks bunches! Quote Link to comment
+sdkonkle
Oh wow!! I love this new option!! I just used it to log my personal TB through all my cache visits on my Geowoodstock trip. It made it so much more easier and the logs on the TB page are better too. Thanks for this new option. Quote Link to comment
+Mauison
Hmmm, just had someone dip one of my traveling coins into a cache. I really hope they don't dip the coin in every single cache they find before actually placing it in a cache for good! Maybe we'll need an option to mark our traveling coins as "non-dippable" or something of that sort? Quote Link to comment

Eh, who am I kidding, TapTap kidnapped this coin... Quote Link to comment

Although, it wouldn't be too different than the drop/retrieve/drop/retrieve logs that I get every once in a while. Quote Link to comment

+Sir Lamorak
I did not see any WYSIWYG editor on the trackable edit page. The only thing I saw was that it messed up my HTML table under my description! Table looks good in the edit page, could not find any html box to check and tried a resave with no change in results.
