Remember bent_twigs lives in north Tennessee, almost Kentucky. Also I am sure a large number of cachers who don't try to be first on regular caches would try for an A.P.E. cache.

I can just see myself forwarding my business line to my cell phone, replicating Lotus Notes to my laptop, and heading out to God knows where... All that and I still wouldn't find it - everybody knows Cleopatra is the one who always finds them!

Hmm.... interestingly enough, this appears to be a (pardon the pun) "gorrilla" marketing ploy by Fox Studios. I wonder if this is the first use of Geocaching for commercial purposes???? AFAIK, it is... :-)

May have to take the day off, since I can cover northeast GA, and the western part of the Carolina's

Of course it would be my luck that it is closer to work than home.

Great timing, I've got today off and I have to take my daughter to a doctor appt and then take my wife to surgery. Yea, the coordinates will definitely be released this morning.

The answer to the question that started this tread is "bent_twigs", but I was second.

Ahh Rat Fart! hahaha

I didn't get home till after 1:00 pm to see the cache listed. Nobody had logged it yet, and it was about 6 miles from the house. Anxiously and optimisticly I headed on out there. We found it, but were the 4th. The adrenaline rush was a blast though! Also met Chas of ChasMargZachCaro. Very nice person, like all geocacher are!

I was going to scope that area for a possible cache, although i was planning on using the other side of the road.

I had also considered heading out and sneaking in tonight....but that area is no place for a lady, or myself for that matter, to be after dark! I'll hit in the morning.

It tooke me longer to drive to the cache than it did to find it. If we want this cache to thrive after the hoopla is over, we are going to have to make an effort for it to do so. I wonder if 20th Century Fox wants to send more promotional materials to the existing caches for other movies.
