+Team Rand
I know you can manually enter co-ordinates into the 2620, but wondered if there was a way to download from GSAK or some other programs a number of waypoints at once. Quote Link to comment
+diverhank
You should be able to. You can start out with the free EasyGPS or the premium GSAK. I have a 2610 and I can use just about anything to download waypoints to mine. I have tried GSAK, EasyGPS, G7toWin and Mapsource. Unfortunately your 2620 does not come with Mapsource! robertlipe
We've had mixed reports of success with the Streetpilot 26xx's with GPSBabel (which is used by GSAK for its device communication needs). I've heard of perhaps a dozen people that have tried with 26xx. Some people say it works fine and some say it doesn't work. Nobody's been interested enough in finding the common threads on why it sometimes doesn't work, willing to work with me on debugging it remotely, or to put a failing unit in my hands for study. So it's kind of a crapshoot and I don't know why. Quote Link to comment
