+garyiii
When I go to My Account it show the states I have visited in the last 30 days under "Quick View", but under view "All Logs" that feature is not there. If I make a "Pocket Querry" it won't show me all I have logged because there is a limit to the radius it searches. I had to make 7 Pocket querries, and I have still missed one state. It will take some more time to ferret this one out. Why not add the State column to the All Log pages like it is in Quick View? Thanks, GaryIII Link to comment
+Hynr
You can do what you wish with one PQ (since you have fewer than 500 finds). Create a new PQ, setting up as follows: Set number of caches to show to 500 and select Any Cache and Any Container. Check: I have found. Under "within" select the States radiobutton. Now comes the tricky part: in the selection box select the first state by clicking on it, and then while holding down the Shift key, press the "Down Arrow" until all States are selected. (Don't bother with skipping over states you have not visited; just take them all.) Under "From Origin" and "Placed during": leave "none selected" Set up the rest of the PQ as you would do normally. This will work until you hit 500 finds. Then you will have to run more PQ, perhaps doing half the states in one and the other half in another. Link to comment

(Don't bother with skipping over states you have not visited; just take them all.) Easier way: 1. Select the first state. 2. In the scroll bar, grab the scroll button and drag it to the bottom of the list. 3. While holding down the shift key, click on the last state. Violá! All of the states are selected. Link to comment
+martinp13
This PQ method won't catch any of the caches that are archived. I have one whole find in the state of Pennsylvania, back in 2001, and it's been archived, so PA never shows up in my PQs of states cached. Jeremy, I said it in another topic, but it really belonged here: please put the state field back in the full My Geocaching Logs listing on the My Account page. Thanks! Link to comment

Just visit your profile and find the cache. Download the individual gpx file for that listing. Link to comment
+garyiii
The last input by Jeremy brings us full circle. The reason that this man wants the States listed in the Full List is that I dont have to do anything but copy it to excel and sort by state to have the list of all my states. Every other option forces me to "guess" which ones are missing, and interogate them on a one-by-one basis. That is sorta silly in this age of computers, when the field is in one supplied list but not in the amplification of that list. GaryIII Edited July 12, 2005 by garyiii Link to comment
Jeremy
Oops. I didn't read the original topic, so I missed it out of context. I see what you mean. I'll look into adding states/countries. The past issue on that page was how we stored country/state listings. It is easier now to stick state on those kinds of pages now. Link to comment
Jeremy
I added the state field to the list. It'll be hellabig for some users. Link to comment
+Ambrosia
Well, that was easy! We used to have states listed until the big website change, and I loved it. It was bugging me that there was not a state listing anymore, but I didn't even think to make a mention of it here. Look how easy it was to get it back! Thanks! Link to comment

+skrabut
It would be great to see on the "Statistics for User: " page a list of states/countries and the cache count. Edited July 24, 2005 by skrabut Link to comment
