New Feature Request

 

This may have come up before in the forums, but I did a search for "picture notification" and the results came back empty.

 

It would be nice to get a follow-up email that notifies a cache owner that pictures have been added to a finders log. Many times I'll read a log from a finder of one of my caches, and they will say pictures will be uploaded later. Sometimes that turns out to be a day or two later, sometimes a week later, and sometimes they forget and it doesn't happen. Rather than checking the page often to look for newly uploaded pictures, a follow-up email that notifies the cache owner that pictures have been uploaded by a Finder would be nice.

It has been mentioned once or twice but not in a while to my knowledge. I think it is a great idea worthy of being brought up again.

I guess I missed that earlier thread in my search for this topic. Looks like the older thread started in Aug. 04 and discussions ended in Sep. 04, but it appears from the responses to be a favorable request.
