Longfram Kev
My coins arrived today thanks very much, they look even better in the "flesh". One thing I did notice though, the coin with my name on has the number 015, so I guess thats number 15 out of ??? The other coin with NO name on it has NO number, is this correct ? +Mr'D
As mentioned previously, several time, there are 228 numbered coins, the rest are NOT NUMBERED. Please let me rephrase my question. Why did coin numbering cease at 228? Quote Link to comment

Slytherin
Why did coin numbering cease at 228? Why not? It had to stop somewhere. Alex. Quote Link to comment
walkergeoff and wife
Any idea where I can get cheap engraving? I was too late to get it done as part of the purchase. I was quoted £10.95 by a local key store, and £13.99 by a well-known high street jewellery shop. I would like to pay a little less - or get some Letraset and varnish! Quote Link to comment
ac-p
Got mine today - they look great! Thanks for all the work that's gone into them. Cheers! Quote Link to comment

The Hornet
I got 1 numbered and 4 un-numbered. I have to say they all look superb and I'm one happy bunny! Quote Link to comment
Mr'D
Why not? It had to stop somewhere. Alex. Because I have an inquisitive mind! Could understand numbering stopping at 99 or 999 for space restrictions, but 228 is odd (Oh OK then, I know it isn't...!) Quote Link to comment
Simply B
Our two arrived safely today. They look great. In fact so great that Antonia (4) had ripped open the envelope, cast aside the registration note, and swiped both coins and hidden them in her room before I got home. It took a fair bit of bribery and persuasion before I even got to see them. Thanks again for all the effort that went into them. Quote Link to comment

Cryptik Souls Crew
Someone in the UK has already put one on ebay HERE If it bothers you then you could report the listing to ebay. The title says "not travel bug" and under ebay t+c's thats search manipulation and isn't allowed. Quote Link to comment

Skippy and Pingu
Got them yesterday, cheers. Didn't know what was in the package, Pingu thought I'd been buying tat from Ebay again!!! Quote Link to comment
Happy Humphrey
Someone in the UK has already put one on ebay HERE I'm not sure that it's a big deal if a few are sold on Ebay (although I don't intend to do that with any of mine!). But perhaps the best way of discouraging this is for everyone to start dropping them off in caches (as per the original idea of geocoins)... Then people who don't possess one can at least borrow an example for a few days, diminishing the temptation to obtain one by hook or crook. I'll hang on to one of mine, and perhaps another for a swap, but the rest are destined for the caching world! HH Quote Link to comment
