Would It Be Possible...

I have a request.

Would it be possible for the actual travel bug loggable number to appear on the owner's version of the page? (in addition to the reference number)

I ask this, because in the travel bug forum, some one mentioned that they get two tags, and were wondering what the second tag is for. I understand what the second tag is for, but I believe I have lost one of mine. ( A frequent issue of mine...losing things, including my mind.)

I use a hi-tech read/writable data retention device called "Paper" to record this information. To perform the recording, I use a state-of-the-art graphite data entry device known as "Pencil" (I think you can get one at Fry's). I prefer Pencil 2.0, but that's just me. For long-term storage, I place Paper in a mass-storage I/O unit called "Drawer".

exactly....

nothing in this house ever stays where it is put.

I just think it would be convenient for the owner to have a quick place to check for the number if another cacher asks for it.

Believe me...I feel terrible about asking for yet another "small thing" for the folks at Groundspeak to deal with...but here I am anyway.

:rolleyes:

Yup. And paper is something for the cats to play with and shred. I do keep my copy tags in a box with other geo supplies, but most of my computer time is at work, when the loonies---I mean Patients---are asleep. There's only so much stuff I can drag around with me. My car is already a one-passenger vehicle filled with ammo crates and sidesaddles ('nother whole obsession).

So glad to hear this is going to happen!! Yayy! Thanks to all who made it happen.

drawer = black hole

desk = black hole

bag = black hole.

car and truck = twin black holes

brain = mother of all black holes.

my friend makes fun of me for writing such things down in about 5 different places, but it takes work to loose all of them. :P
