+4leafclover
I have a request. Would it be possible for the actual travel bug loggable number to appear on the owner's version of the page? (in addition to the reference number) I ask this, because in the travel bug forum, some one mentioned that they get two tags, and were wondering what the second tag is for. I understand what the second tag is for, but I believe I have lost one of mine. ( A frequent issue of mine...losing things, including my mind.) Link to comment
+DocDiTTo
Agreed, would be nice to have a way for owners to retrieve the tag number, rather than just the TB ID. Link to comment
+Prime Suspect
I use a hi-tech read/writable data retention device called "Paper" to record this information. To perform the recording, I use a state-of-the-art graphite data entry device known as "Pencil" (I think you can get one at Fry's). I prefer Pencil 2.0, but that's just me. For long-term storage, I place Paper in a mass-storage I/O unit called "Drawer". Edited January 4, 2006 by Prime Suspect Link to comment

I just think it would be convenient for the owner to have a quick place to check for the number if another cacher asks for it. Believe me...I feel terrible about asking for yet another "small thing" for the folks at Groundspeak to deal with...but here I am anyway. Link to comment
Jeremy
It'll be added in the next release. I don't have specific timelines for the relese but it should be within 2 weeks. Link to comment

+4leafclover
ooops...'nother question, then. Will it be "retro-active? Will the number appear on existing pages, or will it only be for bugs activated after your update? Link to comment
Jeremy
It will work with all tb pages. Link to comment

I do keep my copy tags in a box with other geo supplies, but most of my computer time is at work, when the loonies---I mean Patients---are asleep. There's only so much stuff I can drag around with me. My car is already a one-passenger vehicle filled with ammo crates and sidesaddles ('nother whole obsession). So glad to hear this is going to happen!! Yayy! Thanks to all who made it happen. Link to comment
