50 Mi Radius?

When I eneter my Postal Code on the main page to find caches near where I live It will only give me a 50mi radius....I'm a premium member and never had a problem like this before?

Is there something I have changed and not know it?

To improve site performance, the "default search" for caches was changed recently to a 50 mile radius instead of 100 miles. Cranking out all those caches into the search list was a big strain on the database. In many cases, the searcher is only interested in the caches on the first few pages of results -- not the 14th page.

 

If you *do* need a larger search radius, several alternatives are available. You can simply add "&dist=100" at the end of the URL for the search, and bookmark that page. Or you can search from the seek page, which still returns a 100 mile radius. And, pocket queries are unaffected.
