Nevermore1
When I started caching I created this account (nevermore1) for the forums. Since then my entire family has become fans of this great activity, and we have made a family account on GC.com. My problem is that the forums wont let me log in under the family account (which is premium). What am i doing wrong? Our family account is The Laughing Gnomes could the spaces be the problem? Thanks Link to comment

+Airmapper
Are there any special characters in the password? It will not take symbols like @#$%^&*. The new forum software knocked me off for 3 days until Groundspeak helped me find my password wouldn't work. Link to comment
Nevermore1
Yep tried forgotten password (I did have it correct) nope no unusual characters just alpha-numeric Link to comment
Zombie_Woof
I'm curious about this too. I also cannot log into forums. I did change my account name a couple of times (when we were still allowed). I may have changed my password also. I also tried forgotten PW lookup, and no there are no special chars. Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Even if you gave me your username and password it still may take gc.com support to address. Send an email to contact@geocaching.com Of course in the meantime you can always give me your id and password to try out. Link to comment
Keystone
Try going through the forum entry portal on this page if you haven't done so already. Entering the forums through the link on that page synchronizes the information on your profile (including account name and password) with the separate forum server. Link to comment
Nevermore1
yep tried that to. Ive tried logging out in both locations, turning off cookies and coming back through that page while logging in as I went as well. Link to comment

Jeremy
I just posted a test message with your gnomes account. Try logging in now. Something was apparently wrong with how the information was being transferred from geocaching.com - it seems ok now. Link to comment

Zombie_Woof
Hmm... Having trouble with yours. I'll ask Elias first thing tomorrow morning. Something probably happened during our forum upgrade. Silly me, when you said tomorrow, I thought you meant the very next day. Now I realize that I have been put off for all eternity. It kind of makes me feel like a stepchild, that no one cares about. In the mean time, I have sent many E-mail reminders. To which I only got one response with some suggestions. None of the suggestions worked. All subsequent mail has apparently fallen on deaf ears. Let me know when you intend to address this problem, I will renew my premium membership at that time. Link to comment
