robertlipe
Garmin's web site is being wacky, having published this announcement then rescinding it, but there's a new version at http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=209 * This version of MapSource no longer supports Windows 98, Windows ME, and Windows NT. * Fixed an issue with transferring map sets larger than 2 GB to units. MapSource supports transferring map sets up to 4 GB in size. Note that some units do not support map sets over 2 GB in size. * Fixed an issue with creating a waypoint from Japanese address search result. * Fixed an issue with MapSource not finding Google Earth Pro when installed. Not exactly earth shattering for most of us... Also just released is the first web release of "MapInstall" at version 3.9.5, but no description of what it is. http://www.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=3291 Quote Link to comment
+apersson850
I think it's for units like the Nüvi 360 or StreetPilot c550 (just to mention some models), which don't support all of Mapsource's features. No track log, no route transfer. Quote Link to comment

+mattspierce
Does anyone have a hosted copy of 6.11.6? Garmin's site seems a bit finicky. Edited November 28, 2006 by mattspierce Quote Link to comment
+myotis
I installed it and it uninstalled TopoUSA and all my custom maps. I had to run TopoUSA install and then reenter the stuff for the custom maps into my regestry. Then it worked OK. At least I think it is. Edited November 30, 2006 by myotis Quote Link to comment

+larryc43230
Not that "old"....it says it was posted on their site 12/7/06.. Well, I downloaded and installed it on my PC on November 27. I have no idea why Garmin gives that date for the update. --Larry Quote Link to comment
