+Alice Band
When most people cache at night they use torches, some Dutch courage , usually have mates with them and generally have a great time. Last night one of my caches was found by a lovely man, EspritS3, who managed to climb a not so gentle hill with his elderly uncle even though he has medical trouble with his back, donned a set of Army night vision goggles and managed to stagger up the muddy paths without attracting the attention of midnight dog walking muggles with such strange attire attached to his head. I know he has trouble walking but he was so determined to find my puzzle cache I felt he deserves a round of applause from me at least on this forum and kudos for using a more unusual technique to find a cache Well done EspritS3! +Haggis Hunter
I like that, roolku and I will walk without our torches on, so that we don't attract attention. Using NVG's to go out caching is a great idea. Quote Link to comment

+Happy Humphrey
It's worth going to Croft if you're in the area to find some of Robert's caches too: this one is a classic, and there is everyone's favourite, the Three Trolls as well. The latter may even be close to its terrain rating at the moment...but don't be put off, it's not that tough. Quote Link to comment
+Team Balders
Them glasses is brill ! I was at an amateur radio rally this past weekend and saw a pair of NVG, but for £100+ I didn't think that Mrs. Balders would have been too impressed. Oh well, I'll just keep re-charging the torches' double As for now. Quote Link to comment
