+Jaz666
Right, first things first. This post is not intended to question why Groundspeak and/or our reviewers are taking this action - I'm just keen that it does not happen. The following is a list of Virtual Caches (and one webcam cache) that could be archived if their owners do not log into gc.com in the next month - as they have not logged into the site for sometime (which goes against the placement guidelines for these types of caches). Now that new Virtuals and Webcam caches can't be listed, it is in our best interest to keep as many of them going for as long as possible. If you are in personal contact with any of the cache owners (who'll all have got the reviewer note in their inbox anyway), could you consider giving them a gentle nudge. Fingers crossed! Quote Link to comment
Deceangi
Virtual caches along with Webcam caches, can be Adopted over by their owners if they can be contacted and agree to the Adoption. They just have to visit the Adoptions Page with the GC No and the user name of the person Adopting it And I'm going to be evil and not tell you how many or which ones, but you've listed caches which are in compliance with the guidelines My list is current as I had a check on them all, just before reading this topic and updated the list Quote Link to comment
+purple_pineapple
even if no-one knows the cache owner - it might be worth contacting them if you have done the cache to see if they would be willing to adopt it over...? ust thinking of ways in which we can prevent another batch of virtual caches going for ever... +Haggis Hunter
I have all the UK's Virtual & Webcam caches on bookmarks. If anyone can come up with something better as information to cache owners about the fate of these caches, I will happily edit my bookmarks. Quote Link to comment

+Jaz666
Those still "in danger". http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...2c-be0dce03613c - No chance of saving this one, all of his/her caches have been archived for non-maintainance. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...35-cb4595cf43fa - again, our reviewers have already had to archive two of theirs. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...d5-ea2fc88d2ab6 - looks like they are still active, just in hibernation for the winter. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...63-a06025775f69 - again, no maintainance.
