Here is an example.

Put YOUR actual Link after URL=

Note: You must add an opening Bracket and a closing Bracket to that to make it work.

[place brackets like this around your link]

URL=http://pa.water.usgs.gov/monitor/sw/index.html]Text You Enter Here Is How Link Will Look[/url

This is how it would look.

Text You Enter Here Is How Link Will Look

This would then look like this: Text You Enter Here Is How Link Will Look

FYI the "code" button allows you to write UBB code that is not processed only printed. This site uses UBB not HTML

Did you notice that both responders to your question included this peice of information:

Text You Enter Here Is How Link Will Look

In that part of your link, did you try to type in something appropriate like: Alabama Micro Coin

If not, go back and edit your link to include your personal preference of display text.

Edit: Just looked at your link attempt again. That visible Open Bracket " [ " is currently part of your Forum Signature and NOT the actual URL link. If you follow exactly the exmples you were provided, it will work.

Good Luck.

I've been having trouble with this too. I tried it about 6 months ago and just plain ole gave up.

Now with the simple instruction up above I figured I would give it another try.

This is what I used:

As you can see....it does not work. :P

Any suggestions? I even went off site and looked up UBB code and they say the same thing...so I dont know why its not working for me...

I think the problem is you are using the URL as the TEXT also...and that is confusing things.

try this:

My MySpace Page

Heck that worked...wierd that It wouldn't work with my basic blog address.

Thanks alot both of you...I can believe it's working!

Thanks CO Admin. I actually skimmed over that last month and missed the significance.

This month I paid more attention and got it. Never even noticed that Tool.

Note: It's pretty easy to spot someone who make no effort to read the threads they post in.
