BUDDY LIST

I have brought this up in the past. I would like to see a new members only feature on gc.com. A BUDDY LIST, which would appear on the right hand of our home page. This would be an area that looks like our trackable inventory, but would be a list of our geocaching friends. Clicking on their name would take you to their home page. Additionally, whenever someone on your BUDDY LIST logged a cache, etc., you would recieve that log in your email. I like this idea, because I know of a few geocachers that now lo longer log smileys when they find a cache, they just write a note.

 

The last time I brought this up, I was told, "we are working on caches along a route." Well, caches along a route have been around for a while now. How about a new feature.

Actually this feature has been promised to be "in the works" for a while now. I expect we will see it worked on as soon as the server/growth issues are stabilzed.

Is this really so different than this quite recent friends list post that it needed a new topic opened?
