Commercial Hitchhikers - marking as missing

I have placed several Jeeps and Unite for Diabetes tags in caches, only to have them go missing. Because I technically don't "own" them, I cannot mark them as missing so that they no longer show up in the cache inventories.

 

Is there a way for me, or some administrator, to mark them as missing so they don't show up any more? I personally would be pretty peeved to hike out to a difficult cache to grab a jeep if it's been gone for a year or more but still shows up in the inventory.

 

Does the person or group who "owns" the jeep challenge travelers handle this administrative task? How about the Unite for Diabetes?

I believe cache owners can remove items from the cache's inventory. Of course, if it is a cache with a MIA cache owner, I don't know what to tell you.

Ask the cache owners to remove the bugs. If the access the bug page on the right hand side is the option to mark as missing.

the people that are mark travelers missing are:

1. the owner of the traveler

2. the owner of the cache in which it is listed (assuming its listed in a cache)

3. website personal like admins, reviewers, and TB forum mod Eartha
