+Snwjnky
I have a Garmin Etrex Vista HCX and just downloaded an update to my unit. Logged on to download some caches, noticed the changes to the website, and downloaded a few. My GPS shows the caches as the wrong symbol (blue flag instead of treasure chest) and nothing in the Notes field except the word "Geocach". It used to download them with the title of the cach in the note field and the treasure chest auto assigned to them. "Geocach Setup" on my unit isn't fixing the problem. I really dont want to spell it all out and change symbols by hand when I didn't used to have to. Somethings not right. Is it the Website, Update, GPS, or me? Please Help Link to comment
+dj1974
I'm having the same problem. This happened several weeks ago and it was the web site. Link to comment

+totalube
I have a garmin GPS60 and also have this problem. I also used to get the cache name in the notes section, now all I get is "geocache" Edit: I am using Windows XP, running firefox, and a USB cable to transfer to te GPSr Previosly before the web update the transfer worked fine. GPX and LOC files seem to be OK. Edited October 10, 2007 by totalube Link to comment
+FDPercival
I'm noticing the same lack of cache names when I "Send to GPS." Also, the cache name does not appear in the Firefox tab label the cache page is under; just "Geocache" and the reference code. Link to comment
