+trainlove
When one is in a search page or an advanced search page you have the option to search for caches placed or found by a user, But you apparently have to type in the EXACT name of that cacher. How come you can't type part of his name, like you can do when you are in your profile quick view and click 'Find another player'? When you do that, if you at least have the first part of his name spelled right, and his name does not belong to the large group of people with similar names like Team qwert, then you are given a drop down list of names to select from. I would like that drop down list on cache searches by cacher. Link to comment
+sbell111
It's not exactly what you are asking for, but sometimes I have pretty good luck using Google's advanced search for this. It's also handy for those rare occasions when GC.com's search feature decides to take a nap. Edited November 29, 2007 by sbell111 Link to comment
+klossner
You know how to use a partial name to find a player's profile. Once you're there, click the Geocaching tab to get exactly what you're asking for: caches placed by or found by that user. No need to muddy up the advanced search form. Link to comment

Yes, this is what I'm forced to do due to the non-conformaty of the rest of the web site. But I'm suggesting a one step process that's already implemented elsewhere on the site for a different purpose. Link to comment
