+darnjoeSNARG
I found a bag of these while cleaning out the other day. I am willing to share if anyone is interested. Sorry that the photo isn't clearer, but my autofocus just wouldn't cooperate. I don't have any stickers or micro logs to offer, just the container. The top has a rubber gasket that should keep things dry. I may be out of touch the week of Christmas, but just email me through geocaching.com username darnjoeSNARG. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Cool! What where they originally for? Quote Link to comment
+darnjoeSNARG
I think they are for freezing tissue, protein or serum samples, although I could be wrong. Other tubes like this do not have the gasket, and I don't think the gasket would hold up to liquid nitrogen. They are all new, so no fear of contamination. Quote Link to comment
+trainlove
Can't tell if that kind of plastic would survive a run through an autoclave. If not then I do hope that the ones you use are unused. Quote Link to comment
+darnjoeSNARG
They are definitely unused, as I opened the sealed bag myself. I rescued them from hitting the trash in our recent inventory! Quote Link to comment

I know a couple of places these would work at, specially with the rubber o-ring . Quote Link to comment

+darnjoeSNARG
I'll check the packaging and see where they came from. They might be easy to get your hands on. Quote Link to comment
