strumble
I wonder if the administrator/moderator could 'lump' all Colorado threads and topics into one. For those of us without a Colorado it would eliminate 30% of new posts. I still read them as I will buy one to replace the 60CSX when it 'fails'. Quote Link to comment

There is a burst of threads on that particular product, and it can bug some of the people who feel their peaceful existence is being upset by all this noise. But it always dies down after a while, and everything goes back to normal (whatever that might be). Until the next latest-and-greatest pops up. It really gets crazy on big camera forums. This "Colorado ripple" is nothing. Quote Link to comment
strumble
Should we lump all of the 60csx threads into one as well? Yes, please.[my personal preference but may not suit others!] Quote Link to comment
+embra
Best solution is to ask Colorado posters to use existing threads when feasible. Quote Link to comment
+Marky
New units always generate a lot of buzz. I say just let it run its course, no need to moderate anything. Duplicate threads can be joined, but I don't really see the need to do anything heavy handed. It will all take care of itself soon enough. --Marky Quote Link to comment
+jotne
I do like one thread pr topic/problem. I do hate to read thread that goes trough 10-50 pages and not find what you are looking for. Use search, and stop quoting the message above you. PS FAQ on top on forum would have removed 10-50% of all posts. Edited February 1, 2008 by jotne Quote Link to comment
strumble
Perhaps my thoughts were not precise! I suggested that all Colorado threads be in one file/forum so that the individual; problems would remain individual! Then the Colorado problems would be isolated in one unit and become a very valuable source of future information. This would result in fewer duplicated threads! At the moment 10 out of 37 threads are 'Colorado'! The Admistration could then create one Colorado 'Sticky' where other future owners could visit for help. i.e. Groundspeak Forums > GPS Related Topics > GPS Units and Software > Colorado Groundspeak Forums > GPS Related Topics > GPS Units and Software > GPS60 Just my thoughts! +Walt Jabsco
That's an amazing idea. Somebody should of already suggested something like that. Forums Oh, wait, I already did. Quote Link to comment
Grasscatcher
"Should we lump all of the 60csx threads into one as well? " It may not be proper to answer a question with a question, but ..... Why not? Is there a downside to doing it? I can definitely see the benefits...as the OP and others have suggested? Quote Link to comment
Baumer
I think a lot of you people would complain after being hung with a brand new rope. Quote Link to comment
