The HERB5
Similar to the World Cache series but using Twinned Cities Each cache would be a 2 part Multi, the 1st part being a micro with the coords of the Final to the other Twinned city cache. Is this allowed ? Do I need to get special permission to do this ? Is it a good idea ? Quote Link to comment
Pharisee
Anything involving micros is a very bad idea Quote Link to comment
Birders
Take a look at GCM5Q3 and GCMYD6. These are multis starting with a micro and the other part is thousands of miles away. We don't agree with Pharisee. Now Locationless caches have "gone" we really like micros... Edited February 6, 2008 by Birders Quote Link to comment

drsolly
It's possible to put the location of the next stage in a four litre Tupperware container. Indeed, I just found one. And that wouldn't be a micro! Quote Link to comment
HazelS
I tried to set a cache like this up a year or so ago, using the twinned town to the place where I work. I posted on the German Forums, in German and English and I had absolutely no reply... Now we can use the address thingy to search, I'll try again to get a local cacher to help me out!! I can confirm that! drsolly did find the location for the next stage in a four litre tupperware container AND it took them a long time to find it. Nuff said. Quote Link to comment
The Wombles
We have a Twin City cache here. This ended up with caches in Bath (UK), Alkmaar (Netherlands) and Darmstadt (Germany) all of which have been in place since 2004. Quote Link to comment
Birders
We'd be interested to hear why some people object to micros? We have 3 multis and we maintain two others which are parts of multis which start in New Zealand and the USA. All the starts are micros... in fact, for one of our multis the start, which contains the clue for the next part, isn't a container of any sort!! Quote Link to comment
Stuey
I have the mid-stage micro (in Devon) of a multi that starts and finishes in Alabama USA, set up with a cacher that I met at an Event I hosted in 2004. This posed no problems when it was set up. Quote Link to comment
