After buying and messing around with a palm, but to no joy (by the way thank you to every one who helped me).

have found a programme that lets me load cache pages on to my ipod (ipod nano video 4gb)

took me all of 10 mins. with palm took me days and even then no joy.

if intrested just go to:

http://cachemagnet.googlepages.com/

then download.

you will need to be a Premium member to download GPX eXchange file.

there is even a video, have a quick look

so there you go, i am now paperless :(:P:):D:D:D

Was gonna answer you in the other topic, but hey!

Seem my post on this here:

Another one I discovered as: GeoToad

Gsak macro does the best and cleanest for the NOTES feature of iPod. Gpsbabel uses the contacts section is if you actually use contacts, they are all mixed in together. A bit messy. Notes would be better - we should ask!

Cachmagnet is a little cumbersome as it puts out each cache in it's own folder with three subfolders. Takes awhile to load on my slow ancient NANO, bit it does work. Bit hard to navigate, tho.

I'm gonna get on the boys from GPSBabal to have an output format for notes on the iPod. Much better solution than contacts (or not). Contacts on different generations of iPod are different in the way they handle contacts. My old 4gig NANO will show all the info. Pretty cool. My son's new generation will not show the Coordinates of the cache like mine does. They just are not there.
