+webscouter.
Any one else have a profile that has links to your logs? I have links to my favorite caches and the a href seems to be stripped out. Edited June 29, 2008 by webscouter. Link to comment

Keystone
From my observations, it's a temporary random problem that goes away if you check back later on. Link to comment
+webscouter.
Thanks Keystone. Glad it wasn't just me going goofy. Link to comment
+blb9556
Currently my ENTIRE proflie is stripped. All it says is AIM location etc but doesn't give that info. Link to comment

LordEd
I'm trying to add the geochecker embedded code to my puzzle cache and it doesn't want to keep the href. It keeps html encoding the entire string. I think it could be related to this issue (GC1DM8P, not published yet) Link to comment
LordEd
Perhaps if my cache was reviewed and put online, it would fix the problem (nudge nudge, wink wink). (just kidding, i know I just submitted to the queue about 10 minute ago). Link to comment
+Corey
Oh dear, my profile has had the "<a href=" stripped out as well... I hadn't checked it until now Link to comment
LordEd
Actually, i just looked at my profile and a lot of its links are messed up. All of the cacher stats stuff pointing to milestone caches show up as text Link to comment
LordEd
... and now it looks ok. weird. Link to comment
+Gan Dalf
Yours may be fixed but mine is still broken. I've noticed it on ohters profile page as well. All of the href for links is missing leaving only url's. Is anyone working on this? Link to comment
+Gan Dalf
It fixed itself fo rme now too. Me thinks there be a ghost in the machine... Link to comment
+DeRock & The Psychic Cacher
Those are the worst problems to track down. Tough to fix if you can't duplicate it every time. My profile page is acting up too. Random problem or not - this needs to be fixed! Where are you Nate? Deane AKA: DeRock & the Psychic Cacher - Grattan MI Link to comment

+SUp3rFM & Cruella
Ours is still cracked. Tried checking out a few times and the links were always broken. Hope the solution is near. Link to comment
+paleolith
Yep, this has been happening randomly for at least 2-3 months IIRC. Edward Link to comment
OpinioNate
No changes have been made recently that could account for this behavior. I will make sure it is investigated... seems to be a longstanding bug. Link to comment
+SUp3rFM & Cruella
Well, couple of hours after posting our last message in this thread, everything got back to normal. Good luck in finding what's causing this! Link to comment

+TinSparrow
Seems to be happening again today, only I see it happening in cache descriptions. Even with the HTML box checked, my links are being transformed when the page changes are submitted: Before: <A HREF=valid_URL>some text</A> After: "valid_URL">some text Edited July 9, 2008 by TinSparrow Link to comment
+trainlove
If this is a 'temporary' problem, what happens if you are editing your profile while it appears messed up. Or it appears OK while you are editing it but the instant you click 'sumbit' the Bit Gods decide that it's time to be messed up? Any statistics of just how often this occurs? Such as 15 minutes per day, or once every 5 views... Link to comment
+russellvt
Three words: Windows IIS Server Ok, a few more, actually... as others have already stated, it always seems to be an intermittent problem that resolves itself five to ten minutes or so later... perhaps when the reboot gods come through and give it a swift kick or something... *shrugs* Link to comment
+knabino
Well, it I guess if you want to call it an intermittent problem, that is great, but 12 hours now it has been an issue for me. Not only with my profile page but with friends pages that I was trying to look at. I got tired of what it looked like on mine so have stripped my profile until it is really fixed. Any ETA on this issue? Link to comment
+RifleMan81
My profile is getting the same error. Does anyone know if this is just on profiles or has it been seen on cache pages too? Link to comment

+geowalkabout
When I was trying to fix the problem on my profile page ... I noticed that some &nsp codes were put in where the h ref </A> goes. I thought that I had done it! BUT when it started to work again, the &nsp went away also. For me, It was broken on 8 July 08 And was fixed on 9 July 08 and worked fine all day on 10 July 08.
