BEWARE OF FAKE CN EUROPE v2009 ON EBAY

I did get hold of a mapfile from someone who have bought City Navigator Europe NT v2009 (v11)

 

This is a fake map. It is version 2008 with a modifyed name. Same size and same mapID (284) as v2008.

I did make a call to Garmin and did get a confirmation that v2009 is still not released.

Don’t take this the wrong way but you could have avoided this problem by checking on the Garmin website first. Especially when buying something from eBay. Regardless it sucks…sorry man.

I do agree, that you should check first.

But lots of novice GPS user do not know that there are many version out there.

 

I have otften seen release info of Garmin products at the dealer, (advertised on their web)

weeks before you see it on Garmin sites.
