Where do you get them?? You know the official looking "circuit boxes" or whatever sometimes hung on telephone poles or mounted on a wall.... 1) what would they be called .... and 2) where would I get one?

Well if that's truly the case, 1) it doesn't have anything to do with Geocaching and probably should not be posted here, and 2) try Lowe's or Home Depot.

I like caches like these. The first time I found one I was amazed at how cool it was, and it taught me (again) to not make assumptions. I'm still learning that lesson when it comes to finding caches.

 

I had one on a telephone pole for years. No wiring going to it, just a huge disconnect switch on a pole with the GC number across the front. It really looked official to non-geocachers and they left it alone.

 

Mine came from Home Depot.

Home Depot. Lowes. Any Electrical Contractor supply place.
