logging a find

ok ive found a cache, now i need to log it what do i need to do? help please

Starbrand, that link doesn't seem to work for me. Traveler001, to log the find, go to the cache page, make sure you're logged into the geocaching.com website, then in the top right hand corner of the page, there is a link to "Log your Visit". This will bring up a form where you can input the type of log, in your case, a Found It log, then type something about your hunt. Type how easy or hard the find was for you. Type who you hunted it with. Type that this was your very first find, etc. Basically, the idea is to share your experience of the hun with others. Then click the Submit log entry button at the bottom of the page. That's it, you've just logged a cache!

You're almost there already.

If you read some of the logs posted on the geocache page, you will have a good idea of what to write.

Actually, you can be logged into the forum and not logged into the Geocaching.com website at the same time. That's why I made sure to make the note about logging in.
