+KJcachers
anybody know or remember the series of caches that if looked at from Google Maps or Google Earth made the shape of a heart? I remember seeing it in a thread once but can't find it. Quote Link to comment

+Kit Fox
Around my area, one cacher created an entire series based on the game of Clue. Using 54 caches, he spelled C L U E. Of course some out of town cachers had a little fun, and spelled the letters N and O so the map now says NO CLUE . http://www.geocaching.com/map/default.aspx...mp;lng=-117.914 Quote Link to comment
knowschad
In my area, this guy was drawing smileys. If he had been finding instead of hiding, he might still be free today. Quote Link to comment

+JeremyR
Question about these 'geo-art' cache series - are the coords generally as accurate as any other cache, or do people tend to fudge them a bit to keep the design correct?? Quote Link to comment

All of the caches I found were dead on. The CLUE series had each cache hidden .5 miles apart. When you are placing caches next to roads that only run NSEW, the design stays fairly straight. +Vater_Araignee
Question about these 'geo-art' cache series - are the coords generally as accurate as any other cache, or do people tend to fudge them a bit to keep the design correct?? I would assume that if you got the coords for each cache and plotted them you would find the design to be imperfect. The look of perfection comes from the size of the icons never changing and the zoom level. There is a lot of room for error working with long distance ~~~edit~~~ dot matrix drawing. Strange... even though I live on the east coast, I realized after looking at the map that I have driven through that exact area off Rte. 70 in UT twice in the past 18 months. ...small world! +Vinny & Sue Team
These heart-shaped patterns formed by cache hides are cute; looking at them, it appears almost as if an occult hand had reached down from above and hidden each one in precisely the right place! Amazing! Quote Link to comment
