Hello

I'm new on the forum and I'm living in France where I practise geocaching for about one year.

I usually downloaded caches fron geocaching.com and last week it appeared as impossible.

My unit is a Garmin Legend HCX and when I test it on the constructor site, it is told me that all is Ok with the new communicator and Webupdater and pilots.. The testing page recognize my unit.

I can download caches on the constructor site but it is not what I want. I prefere the american site geocaching.com and the matter is I wanted to become a premium member an without that possiblily it is not really interesting...

Have you some advice for me ? Has anyone else with the same problem?

Thank you.

There was a change with the latest site update. You need to be a Premium Member.

Here's what OpinoNate posted in another thread (linked below).

Two things happening here.

1. Send to GPS is a Premium Member feature. It was never meant to be available to Basic Members but that was overlooked and supposed to have been restricted in the last release. Somehow the change was reversed but is scheduled to be fixed [again].

2. Send to GPS is not currently working in IE6. This is also scheduled to be fixed.

But until it's "fixed" back to the intended function, you might try using Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox.
