+Tequila
There is a somewhat serious problem associated with the latest beta firmware for the Garmin Oregon. Version 2.98Beta. In 2.98, when you select an Item in the Player Inventory, it just displays any "action" buttons associated with that Item. . The name and picture do not appear. If there are no actions associated with the Item, only the OK button appears AND there is no way to get the name and picture to appear. The name and picture will only appear if you select one of the action button and then go back. And as I mentioned, if there are no actions to select, you cannot see the picture or name. If you come back down from the Inventory again the name and picture are missing. This is a pretty significant issue. 8 of my 13 published cartridges place an Item in the Player Inventory at the end of the cartridge. The Item's picture shows the coordinates of the geocache. And I had no actions associated with these Items as there was no need for the Player to do anything other than look at the picture. I have modified all of my cartridges to include a superfluous READ command with each Item. I have also sent this information to the Garmin Oregon Beta team. Quote Link to comment
+SecretSquirrel-BJC
I did an experiment and it seems to be playing up when we use the Oregon GPS demo mode but it seems ok in normal GPS mode But that isn't good enough Quote Link to comment
