bemat
I went to the Homepage and under "enter postcode" I did just that to look for a cache nearby. Up came Farmwife and the John Deere boys at 2.3 miles away. When I clicked on Farmwife etc. I found it to be 4617.1 miles away in Texax U.S.A. I live in the suburbs of London England. I have to admit that it's usually my husband that goes on-line to look for a cache nearby, but how could I have got it SO wrong? Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
There's an open bug for these errors, and a thread about it here Apparently many nations are using 5 digit post codes, so the same code may exist in Texas USA and in the U.K. apparently there's a fix coming, quote OpinioNate, "The fix is in, and will be released a week from Tuesday*. When searching a zip with ambiguous results you'll be asked to choose which you meant. *Probably" Edited October 23, 2009 by Isonzo Karst Link to comment
glorkar
You don't have to use your postal code. You can also enter your address and it will work with that. I just tried "London, England" and all sorts of them popped up. Link to comment
