Random Chinese characters showing up in cache pages?

I've been seeing some VERY odd and random characters showing up in one of my cache descriptions.

Specifically, GC1CFMH.

This shows up right at the end of the short description and when the cache page is refreshed in multiple browsers, the characters actually change. They are dynamic in nature and seem to be about some sort of Moroccan occupation.

Some times there are only one or two characters, some times there are several lines.

 

Any thoughts?

Maybe TPTB have dropped ROT-13 for something a bit more difficult?

Usually there are only a couple. It's a long-standing problem which is apparently difficult to pin down. Since it's mostly just annoying, I don't think anyone has pushed GS to bump its priority up.

A cacher brought up this cache page on our local forums. I've refreshed it a few times and things change quite radically at times- including several different foreign languages and pictures that come & go...very strange.

Adding a new line at the end, with a period (or other single character) on it. That seems to fix it.
