What's the point of having these horrid satellite maps if they are useless? Having a graphic of an old rug would be better than looking at the new satellite map. The old satellite maps were great. The new ones are so bad they aren't worth using. If this is all about saving money, you could save more by doing away with these useless satellite maps. Link to comment

Lots of people explaining that it's google's fault, that they are charging thousands per so many views so to stick with google maps our memberships could no longer ever be free, and the paid ones would go to something more in line with your cable bills. Then we'd have everyone in here screaming about costs, rather than being willing to put up with less than perfect maps, which by the way, they never were perfect anyway. Let's see... A few people saying they are going to go over to another site and find all 3 caches listed there in their state, even though they are probably going to be not using google maps either at that price. Conclusion: The people at Groundspeak work hard to constantly upgrade this site. All new programs have bugs. This will have some too. Every time there is any change here everyone screams. Change is hard. We will adjust, the maps will improve, and you'll forget all about this in a couple of weeks. Don't worry about it, have patience, and in the meantime, go out and find some caches.
