New icon for Challenge caches

I was looking for a way to extract challenge caches in GSAK, but I didn't get a proper result.

If there isn't a certain way to do that, then it might be a good idea to add a Challenge Cache icon as an attribute to the Cache Description.

Challenge caches must contain the word "challenge" in the cache name.

 

Probably the easiest way to filter them out.

Since Challenge Caches must have the word "challenge" in their name, it's pretty easy to filter for them in GSAK, although you may get a few false positives mixed in.

As Geocaching Challenges died, but the great idea of motivating geocacers above and beyond mere numbers, I do like the idea of breaking them out of Unknown (Mystery) Caches. Probably a little bit of work to do, but a little bit of work should not be ground for not implementing a good idea.

I know of quite a few challenge caches placed before this rule was put in place that don't have challenge in the title. Also I know of plenty non challenge unknown caches that have the word challenge in the title. This filter gets you only part way there.

I like the idea, but see issues with the implementation.

 

Primarily, who is going to retroactively go back and change the cache type for all the existing challenge caches?

The reviewers have enough on their plates.

The owners would need special dispensation, since a CO currently can't change a cache type. Not to mention that someone would need to tell them it was possible/recommended to make the change.

I like the idea of a separate icon for challenges.
