Picture in log notification

For owner logs or if you are watching a cache it would be nice if the user submitted a picture that it would be in the email too.

How long should the server sending the email that a log was posted wait to see if the logger is going to add a picture?

 

There is considerable value in a message that 'a picture has been uploaded', but I can't see how the photo could be included with the text of the log.

 

Some people wait days before uploading their pictures.

Well I guess the server should wait 5 minnutes to see if a picture was uploaded before sending the notification. If a new picture was uploaded it should send a new email right after.

So, what benefit do you expect to get by seeing the first photo uploaded with a log, in the message reporting the log?

 

Do you just hope to see nice pictures?

Are you hoping to see a spoiler photo?

 

Once again, some people may not add their pictures immediately, but perhaps hours or even days later.

I would just want to see pictures of my cache and cool things they found on the way there

So what you really want is to receive a notification that a photo was uploaded to your cache.

 

Probably doable, and has previously (and recently) been suggested.

 

I don't think it would be practical to include photos in a notification of any type.
