Geocache Listing Photos in Garmin 6xx

I'm pretty sure I read one of the features of the new Garmin Oregon 6xx line is the ability to view photos included with geocache listings. But, when I view listings on my 650t, I don't get the photos. Am I missing something or is the unit not capable of this feature? Thanks!

The photos are not provided in your pocket query, nor are they included in the GPX file that you download when you want to load a single cache. You can either manually save and load them, or you can use a GSAK macro to do it automatically (way easier). Photos go on the internal storage of the Oregon in a specific folder hierarchy. After doing that, there is a button on the geocache description page that you can press to see the photos.

For example, photos for a geocache with code GC3GN2E would be placed under the path

\Garmin\GeocachePhotos\E\2\GC3GN2E\

 

And spoilers would be placed under

\Garmin\GeocachePhotos\E\2\GC3GN2E\Spoilers

You are better asking at the GSAK forums as using a macro to download pictures is against Groundspeak policy....
