+Don_J
Is it me or do Premium caches disappear as you zoom out. You lose the customization as you zoom out. At some point, the amount of data to process becomes overwhelming for the servers so at a certain zoom level it gets switched off and you are served pre-cached map tiles for the area that you are looking at. This is true for everyone. Quote Link to comment
+thebuttermilkqueen
However, caches disappear even when they are the only one hidden in a 50 mile radius; non-premium caches show up if it is the only one within a 50 mile radius. Is there a way around this? My region has about 10 that are the only ones hidden and each is separated by about 50 miles; if it is premium it doesn't show, but non-premium do. They only disappeared off a zoomed-out map in the last 2 months. Quote Link to comment

The way that the map is supposed to work is that a non-premium member is not supposed to see the premium caches when they are zoomed in but they should appear as you zoom out and it becomes harder to pinpoint their location. This is currently broken from a website update in August and now, nobody can see them when they zoom out. It was reported and acknowledged as a bug in another thread. At this point, we just have to be patient until the developers fix it. Quote Link to comment
