Geo-Boyds 123
Hello i have already asked a few geocaches about this but i haven't got a definitive answer yet so any help would be appreciated. So basically i started geocaching a couple of years ago. I didn't have a GPS then so i just used google maps and as you can guess it wasn't very successful, anyway eventually i found a cache . A couple of weeks later after only finding one cache i hide one myself, it was called the egg and unfortunatly it broke one of the rules so the cache was disabled and i forgot about geocaching for a couple of years until i saw a video on youtube about it. I started a new account because i had forgot the password to the last one and my nan bought me a GPS. I also made a spare account which i forgot about anyway what i'm trying to ask is, is it against the rules to have had more than one account even if i had a published cache on my first account ? Also don't mean that i had one account for hiding caches and one for finding them i mean that i had one account but i opened a new one because i forgot my password. +niraD
In the forums, "sock puppet" accounts are prohibited. That would be another account used to post anonymously. Otherwise, there is no rule against multiple accounts. But if you wanted to recover your old account, then you might be able to if you contact Groundspeak: http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=request Quote Link to comment
