+foureyedgrrl
Hello. I really enjoyed the caches placed in libraries in Madison, WI. I. C am staying in a different area other than Madison and would like to find a few placed in either Waukesha or Washington counties in Wisconsin. Can anyone offer any advice other than scrolling through the list? Quote Link to comment
+niraD
I can't think of any attributes that would specifically indicate a library cache, but there might be a few ways to narrow your search. Most will be multi-caches or puzzle caches, because it's hard to list a traditional cache at a library in a way that incorporates the mandatory use of accurate GPS coordinates. So you might start by looking for those cache types. If the cache owner has chosen to include attributes, then attributes that indicate services available at the library may appear, for example: Parking Available Drinking Water Nearby Public Restrooms Nearby Other than that, just look for multi-caches and puzzle caches near libraries. +msrubble
I know of one. Velma (The Bookworm). I was going to suggest the Wisconsin Geocaching Association, but the last post in their southeastern Wisconsin forum was 5 months ago. Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Start by googling the town for libraries and note the address. Use the Single Address page of this website GPS Visualizer check Google for source for best info. Take the coords to the GS search and put them in and look for library caches. Quote Link to comment
+Team Taran
This may be a bit simplistic but my first step would be to use the new search to look for library in the cache name in Wisconsin. Other words to try are book, Dewey, etc. Also does Wisconsin have county library systems? If they do an email to the headquarters might get results and might even trigger a project to hide some.
