Newbie - Garmin Communicator

Completely new to Geocaching - I have a garmin unit eTrax 30x. I downloaded and installed the Garmin Communicator plugin which shows my unit. When I hit the send to my GPS a window pops up saying Garmin Communicator Plugin not installed

 

Looking for advice

It is practically useless now for Garmin. I use Firefox and they don't support the communicator plugin. They say to use Explorer. Well I tried Explorer and the Edge and it still won't work. I miss it so I can load just a few without having to load a whole PQ or GPX file. Sometimes I need to rush out and just want one. Now I rather take the time to manually enter the coords because I am frustrated on not being able to load it straight to the Garmin.

Hi, rkstiens. Welcome.

 

First, a possible problem that is easy to fix. The "Send to My GPS" popup defaults to DeLorme. Have you clicked on the tab for Garmin?

 

If that is not the issue, it would help to know what operating system and browser you use.

Then they must have did this recently cause I couldn't get it to work. The other reason could be I have a 64bit and it is having problems letting me update
