InsaneLampshade
i just bought my first gps (garmin geko 201), and i noticed that it already has 4 waypoints in it, three of the waypoints (GARMIN, GRMPHX & GRMTWN) don't have any locations, they just have an elevation, but one of the waypoints (GRMEUR) points to some industrial estate near Southampton (in the south of England) Is my gps supposed to have these waypoints already in it, and what are they for? +pecka
I dunno if they should be int he unit, but I suspect they are just locations for GARMIN European, Taiwan and US. See here Quote Link to comment
InsaneLampshade
i guess that would make sense, but i wonder why they put them in as waypoints Quote Link to comment
team_tar
Found in my eTrex yellow, eTrex Legend and eTrex Vista of my best friend... they always put them in. No idea why... maybe while they are testing the unit, althoug I don't see why. Anyway you can delete them without problem. Quote Link to comment
