NoClue-Opp
What am I suppose to do if a cache has a whereisgeorge dollar? Do I exchange for the dollar, log it (both websites), and then spend it? Do I just treat it like a travel bug? I have seen them at two site but have left them alone. Quote Link to comment
Team DEMP
For Where's George dollars (WG$) in a cache, you would only log it on the Where's George site. There's no logging of WG$ here on geocaching.com Many folks trade them for other WG$ but you could trade it for a like item of a dollar or more. As for whether to spend it or pass it to another cache, see a post at http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...topic=73301&hl= where I asked the same sort of question. Quote Link to comment
NoClue-Opp
Thanks, It looks like I can do any of the above. Spend it, move it, leave it, as long as I trade even or up. Quote Link to comment
Renegade Knight
It's a WG dollar. WG hates caches since they are not a 'natural use of a dollar' or some such rubbish. Thus from the WG standpoint I think you can swipe the buck, tell the story and win extra points on that site though, that would make you a schmuck in the geocaching world. Quote Link to comment
briansnat
Thanks, It looks like I can do any of the above. Spend it, move it, leave it, as long as I trade even or up. You can do any of those. I've done all three, but most often I just take the George and spend it. Edited July 20, 2004 by briansnat Quote Link to comment
