I have a couple of scratches on the display of my garmin 60cs. Is there anyway of buffing them out. I was thinking of useing a cd cleaner. We took a dive down a hill I got better.

In the OLD days, there were products made to refinish the visors of motorcycle helmets. Try your local Motorcycle store.

My spelling may be off but you are looking for Maguires Mirror Glaze and other Maguires products that will do the job.

 

Mirror Glaze by itself isn't quite enough but it can improve scratches. I've used it on my kids Gamboys.

And your local motorcyle shop is the place to get it. Autoparts stores sometimes carry it.

If the scratches aren't too deep, you can try toothpaste and a cotton pad.

Once you fix it up be sure to put a PDA screen cover on it! They seem to work very nicely when it comes to keeping superficial scratches off the screen.

Same product I use on my 60cs screen. I usually just use the #3 since the screen is pretty resistant to milder compounds, and that compound seems to left it polished well, too. I have taken out all but the very deepest gouges.
