+planetrobert
go ahead and markwell it, i can't remember ever reading this one before. how about making a "cache wishlist" where you check the boxes like to DL a .loc file but instead the caches in question would be added to a "cache wishlist" that you could run as a PQ file. +Moose Mob
Would having those caches on your watchlist do the same thing for you? You can PQ against that as a criteria. I realize you would get e-mails about cache activity. Link to comment
+planetrobert
it would work except that you would have to visit each cache page to add it to the list. and then removing them would be a pain also. this could let you use a map to just pick caches close to a highway or near your stops without having a bunch of pq's it could be done using a watchlist like thing if we had multiple watchlists, that would be a great way of implimenting it. +Moose Mob
I see what you are saying. That could be useful to do straight from the GC site. If you are trying to get "selected" caches into a GPX file, I do kinda the same thing useing GSAK right now. Link to comment
+Markwell
I believe Jeremy has talked in the past about making multiple lists (categorizing yoru watchlists, etc.). And if that's the case it should be easy to set up a "wish list" and have a PQ that says "only those on my wishlist subgroup". Don't know if this is reality or something I dreamed about, but I seem to remember reading it once. Link to comment
Jeremy
Markwell has it right. You'll be able to create whatever lists you like. Link to comment
+cachew nut
Markwell has it right. You'll be able to create whatever lists you like. Will we be able to mass clear those lists, or will they need to be cleared one cache at a time like the current watchlist? Link to comment
+planetrobert
Markwell has it right. You'll be able to create whatever lists you like. what about an ignore list that could be used to exlude from a pq Link to comment
+stugotz
It would be nice to create a route and then be able to do a pq for caches within X miles of the route line. I was going on a trip and wanted to do some caching along the way and the easiest way I could find to locate caches was to move the Geocaching.com Map along the route I was taking and download the pages one at a time.
