+The Puzzler
I'd imagine that this has already been thought about and maybe addressed before, but I didn't find anything on it. Would it be possible for gc.com to set up team user accounts that were linked to individual member accounts, so that teams were essentially made up of registered members, and team logs and or individual logs could optionally be cross-posted to the individual or team account as appropriate? Doing this might encourage more "teams" made up of more loosely connected cachers. It would allow individuals to maintain personal statistics without double posting logs from team finds etc. It seems like some kind of a database revision that would allow this would clean up one messy asspect of geocache logging as it is today. +Hemlock
Personally I prefer reading a bunch of individual logs instead of one team log. Everyone will have their own version of the experience finding a cache that a single "team" entry could never capture. Link to comment

I wouldn't call it messy. so much, but some way to link up teams is a neat idea. I would compare it to how Clans are formed in these first person shooter names. You can visit a team page which lists the members, and shows all the logs by the users. Having a team post a group log isn't the best way to go, IMO. Like Hemlock indicated, it is nice to see personal experiences instead. A tally of finds would be interesting since you'd need to filter out duplicate finds on the same listing. Link to comment

+Team Perks
Hmm...I guess I'm just not sure what's so bad about each cacher logging their own finds. Just seems confusing to me. (Said the guy posting this from a Team account. ) Link to comment

(Said the guy posting this from a Team account. ) Yes. I'm suggesting that you do log your own finds, but there is a way for teams to see progress on their own team page. "My Cache Page" becomes "Team Cache Page" and a user profile page has a team profile page. Link to comment
+Moose Mob
I like the caching team approach to consolidate the logs of folks who visited the together. It would have to be pretty dynamic though since my caching partners change vary according tho thier work schedules. Link to comment
+pwcorg
I have a question on a related topic. I have been caching with another user since we started. We just now created a team account. Do we go back and log the caches we found together under the team name or strictly log caches found together after the team was officially named? I can see arguments both ways, and want to get some feedback. Link to comment
rescue557
Personally, I think the team idea is great. If it has been done before, how does one join and/or start a team? Link to comment
+Escapades
I would like to see on a cache evnt type cache when multiple people put it on each member gets credit for the "hide" just so when you look at your profile you see how many events you put on or co put on. Mike Link to comment
