Here's the results from the 2004 race. I was as careful as I could be and adjusted for any drops after December 31st. I did this so the non-participants could have an idea.

Sorry it's so jumbled. The rules don't necessarily say that the one with the most provinces wins if none make all 10 provinces, but I assume that is what is intended.

 

Otherwise, the default rules say the most miles wins and that would be Timmy the Tugboat instead.

 

Amazing how many bugs ended up in the US or UK? Can't people read the tags (I'm in a race across CANADA?).

 

Anyways, I hope prizes were handed out (because we never did get an official answer) and congratst to Doc Magoo for having the winning bug.

Thanks for the summary. For the record #16 Boots made for Racing is sitting on my desk as I type - all ready to go again in 2005. It didn't make it across Canada but at least it got home

 

Amazing how many bugs ended up in the US or UK? Can't people read the tags (I'm in a race across CANADA?).

 

Maybe we should have a race back to Canada. I picked up a couple of bugs in the UK in 2004 that were in a race back to the US. First one to a designated cache wins.

Thanks for the update Taxman! Nope, you're the first to post anything that finalizes what, where, or who. Haven't heard a thing from anyone. Kinda moot point now. Here's to hoping that there's a well organized race next year...perhaps we'll see some bugs out this way then.

Thanks Taxman003 for the update on the race great work! Just to add to the to the updates our bug "Bluenose Fox" also made it into Que. for a total of four provinces. I bet if other bug owners investigate further into there bugs the final results may change to. Its a shame about the race it start out with a big bang here in N.S. but as the race moved on it just fade- lack of interest? or bugs in the bug race.

Fixed it for ya and you moved to the top 10! If anyone else finds and error let me know. I saved the spreadsheet so it isn't hard to update.

 

I did go to each bug's page and try to count all the provinces so I hope this list is relatively accurate.
