retired-ee
A friend was just showing me her geocaching software (MacGPS Pro) that reads digital raster graphics (DRG) files from the U.C. Davis CASIL database. What software can I use on my Windows XP system to use those maps? I looked at information about EasyGPS and GSAK and neither mentioned being able to import DRG files. Preferably, I would like a program that can not only import the file but also automatically calibrate it, but if necessary, I can always download the separate calibration file with each DRG. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Bob Quote Link to comment
n0wae
A moving map program that imports DRGs and just about anything else including scanned maps would be Fugawi 3. This package can also upload just about any map format to your pocket PC or Palm. Fugawi comes with Streets USA and works with GSAK. Another source for DRGs would be a DRG group like the Rocky Mountain DRG Group. Quote Link to comment
+Redwoods Mtn Biker
I suggest using OziExplorer. One advantage over Fugawi is that it can also import MrSID images.
